Suncrest alum, NYT Best-selling Author, Emmy-nominated host, and soon-to-be-astronaut Emily Calandrelli visited Suncrest Middle yesterday! She talked to our students about the importance of perseverance, the wonders of STEM, to never give up on their dreams (even though they may change) and to Stay Curious and Keep Exploring! She even did a few of her favorite experiments with us!
Also, Emily took some time to talk to a few students about women in STEM, STEM careers and activities, and to encourage their general pursuit of Science.
And she couldn't get away without at least a few signatures.
